PURPOSE: To assist the Chief Investment Office in evaluating new and existing investment opportunities across asset strategies and geographies. Maintain a framework in which the investment performance of TCH's aggregate $2+ bn Foundation, long-term invetment pool and penstion fund can be measured against benchmarks and peer group. Review and administer the investment management contracts associated with our investment management program with a particular emphasis on our expanding alternative investment effort.
Responsibilty A: Prepares investment performance reports and monitors trends and variances
Responsibility B: Assists in preparation of asset allocation models
Responsibility C: Performs special projects as required by supervisor
Responsibility D: Assists in the investigation of a potential investment
Responsibility E: Monitors and analyze existing portfolio performance
Responsibility F: Monitors investment firm/manager
Responsibility G: Assist with investment liquidity and/or redemption transactions
Responsibility H: Assist with transition manager services
Responsibility I: Assist in the completion of capital call request and manager invoice statements
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Required for completely satisfactory performance in this job is investment basic knowledge and reporting principles.
Required for completely satisfactory performance in this job is proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Power Point. The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing is essential. Proficiency in financial statement analysis and financial modeling required.
FORMAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
The formal education normally associated with completely satisfactory performance in this job is a Bachelor¿s degree with strong academic performance. A minimum of 2 years financial industry experience is needed.
