About Texas Childrens Hospital

Texas Children's Hospital Pavilion for Women

Expanding upon its premier reputation in fetal and neonatal medicine, Texas Children's Hospital offers obstetrical care in partnership with St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital. With the addition of the Pavilion for Women, Texas Children's will be able to provide a full continuum of family-centered care to mothers and their babies, beginning before conception and continuing after birth. With high-risk births on the rise nationally, the Pavilion for Women will respond to the escalating need for obstetrical research and treatment, and will assure that mothers and their babies have access to the most advanced technologies and treatments available.

Position Summary

Knowledge Required for completely satisfactory performance in this job are knowledge of current business practices and computing systems, interfaces, and TCH standard software. Familiarity with TCH staff, data processing techniques and practices.

Skills
Required for completely satisfactory performance in this job is the ability to demonstrate expertise in project management and planning; the ability to demonstrate leadership, build cohesive teams, possess written and verbal communication skills and possess analytical and organizational skills. Additionally required is the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Formal Education and Experience
The formal education normally associated with completely satisfactory performance in this job is a bachelor¿s degree in computer science, business administration, healthcare administration, nursing or other related field A minimum of five (5) years of experience in physician practice management, information systems management, medical billing, or other related field is required. Four years of related experience may be substituted for a bachelor¿s degree.
